Who has been updating their home the last couple of months?! Me and the rest of my neighborhood certainly have! My husband and I always joke about how many homes will have old carpeting or other materials laying in the driveway from all the projects happening right now while we’re on our daily walks. We’ve painted our master bedroom/bathroom, created a playroom/preschool room for Charlotte, stained our deck, updated our landscaping, completed our kitchen island project and changed out our kitchen light fixtures. 😅 We had previously finished our half bath but it hasn’t had an updated tour on here either so I figured a mini tour was in order. In a later post, I will share the rest of our home but for now, I’ve captured our main living area.

Baking and cooking have been filling so much of my time these days. I’ve been enjoying my new cookbook every week.
Canisters https://rstyle.me/cz-n/d7d6qwcizzp, Marble board https://rstyle.me/~cz-aLC0K, Mixer https://rstyle.me/~cz-aLC0KI’ve also gotten questions on my cookware recently. We’ve had this set for probably 8-12 months and love them. I can never have enough copper. Keeping fresh flowers in my kitchen for a pop of color has been something I’ve started recently that has made me so happy. Bringing in a little life can never be a bad thing.
Bottom marble and wood board https://rstyle.me/cz-n/dd7ka6cizzp, bon appetit board https://rstyle.me/cz-n/dd7ka6cizzpMy utensil holder and dough bowl are both vintage items that I love. White pottery and wood tones are certainly my staples. I have too many cake stands to count but I always keep one on my island for a small display. Loving this bit of greenery for spring and summer. I got my stove board from a local craftsman and have enjoyed it for quite some time now. They’re an easy way to add a cozy feel to an otherwise boring space. Here is a similar one.
Knife set https://rstyle.me/~cz-aLurjI’ve been keeping my dining room very simple and clean as of late but have found some things I wanted to share. My table is from At Home, placemats are from Target dollar spot recently and the runner is from Hobby Lobby. My bowl is from HomeGoods and typically houses fruit but we are currently out. 🙃 Chairs https://rstyle.me/cz-n/d73kufcizzp, Rug https://rstyle.me/cz-n/dtsdmecizzp My hutch is still a work in progress after Easter decor came down but this is the vibe I’m going for. I love how this little area has turned out. Simple and clean. My buffet is vintage and one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever found. The basket shelf is from HomeGoods.
Nespresso https://rstyle.me/~cz-b3gdDI always keep our living room pretty light on decor because my toddler enjoys adding her touch to this space every single day. 😉 I found my wall hanging at HomeGoods a few months back and love the texture it adds. I’ve also added a little pop of green and navy for summer. Cabinets https://rstyle.me/cz-n/djezkgcizzp, Rug https://rstyle.me/cz-n/djezkgcizzp A fresh coat of paint (Benjamin Moore Gray Owl) did wonders in here. I added some new decor and a shiplap wall as a focal point and love how this update turned out.
It looks so pretty. You all have done a wonderful job.
