Sneak Peek – Sitting Room Makeover

I shared on my home tour that I was redecorating an extra bedroom in our home and transforming it into more of a sitting room space. This room previously doubled as an office for me and a guest bedroom. We have other space for guests and the bed in that room was never used anyway so I recently decided to change this into more functional and usable square footage. With the large bed out of the picture, I’ve finally started to decorate the space in a way that I love and will actually get to use. The room is quite large so I still have some work to do but I’m thrilled with how it’s looking!

I’ve had the bench in the back since my very first apartment years ago and I still adore it. It’s beautiful but unfortunately, Wayfair doesn’t carry it anymore. This one is a similar option though. The wall art is from Hobby Lobby as well as the navy velvet pillow (similar one here) and every single ornament on the tree. In fact, Hobby Lobby’s huge selection of the gorgeous Tiffany blue ornaments was my inspo for the space! I also added a faux fur rug to cozy up the room. I am SO happy I went with this tree! The quality looks excellent. I’ve always had the chandelier in here but I think it stands out now more than ever.

I didn’t have an extra tree skirt for this new tree but thankfully, a throw blanket makes the perfect one!

On the dresser, I’ve added a bit of Christmas decor from Tjmaxx, a tray made by my hubby and a table runner for texture.

I’ll share more details in the coming months but I’m very pleased so far!

Thanks for stopping by!
