Andrew and I are settled in and the list of projects has been slowly dwindling. Today, I wanted to share our master suite because it was one of the first rooms to win my heart over in the first place.
Most of the front wall of this room is filled with very large windows and allows for the kind of lighting I had always dreamed of in our room. If you remember my home tours in our apartment, you’d know of my constant complaint of our dark bedroom—we’re talking ZERO natural lighting. It was something that honestly always brought me down as I’ve been sensitive to lighting my entire life. For instance, it’s never been the cold that bothers me about winter–it’s the darkness, ya know? Anyway, the windows mixed with the color scheme of the room are exactly what we wanted for our next bedroom to give that light and airy feeling.
As for decor, much of our home is filled with weathered, coastal touches and our master suite is no exception. I still wanted to add autumn touches to the room and did so by keeping them neutral (whites and grays) and minimal.
Our chandelier is from Wayfair. We got a larger one for our living room as well and couldn’t be more pleased with them. It helped that we got them on sale for $75 less than what they currently are selling for–check their site often y’all!
My khaki striped pillow cover is this one from Pottery Barn. The rest of my bedding is all from Home Goods and TJMaxx.
My lamps are from Home Goods and the nightstands are from Christmas Tree Shop and are in the color driftwood. We are SO pleased with them.
I’m LOVING this Pumpkin Rum candle from DW Home and I added a faux marble pumpkin from Target alongside it.
My clock is from Cracker Barrel (they have the cutest decor at times) and the cabinet is from Christmas Tree Shop–obsessed with the beautiful seafoam color.
The gold mirror is from the Threshold brand at Target and the picture frame is from At Home.
The white mini pumpkin was found at Dollar Tree last year (MAJOR score) and the gray one is from Hobby Lobby this year. I added a candle holder from Bath & Body Works to complete the decor on my tray from Home Goods.
I keep this weathered basket from TJMaxx by the door for extra pillows and blankets and to add a little extra “cozy” to the room. The throw is from Home Goods and the pillow is this one from Pottery Barn.
This ottoman is from Home Goods and our plush rug was actually found on Amazon–definitely check there for rugs. The quality is excellent and the prices are better than most.
Zoey’s food and water bowls are from Home Goods and I fell in love with how beautiful and different than are from typical dog bowls.
The double sinks in our bathroom have been so much more convenient than I would have thought. I’m no longer shoving razors out of my way to get ready in the morning. 😉
My “fall by the sea” sign is from At Home–they have the best coastal decor for fall and Christmas.
My rug is this one from Target and is so soft.
My striped shower curtain is from TJMaxx and the rings are these from Bed Bath & Beyond. I LOVE the coastal detail on them.
The glass vase and everything in it is from Pottery Barn.
I hope you enjoyed taking a look into my master suite. This is the first installment of a long series of room tours to go this season and I’m so excited to share them all!
